Homecoming Week for county schools

Greene County High School and Paton-Churdan High School are both celebrating Homecoming this week.

Homecoming courts were announced last week.

Along with dress up days on a “Totally Rad” theme, student activities include a lip sync contest and outdoor movie Wednesday evening, a pickleball tournament Thursday evening, and the homecoming dance Saturday evening.

The homecoming parade will step off from the middle school Friday at 2 pm, and head north to the courthouse. Coronation will be held on the courthouse grounds at 2:45. The Ram football team will host the Saydel Eagles in the evening, with kick-off at 7 pm at Linduska Field.

Paton-Churdan held coronation Sunday for queen Ava Minnehan and king Phoenix Hartman. They and the court will be in the Friday afternoon parade in Jefferson. All seniors are on the court.
